Sorry about the delay.

This report was originally against 0.5.0 - If you can retest against 
1.1.0, I suspect we'll find an improvement (esp. given recent work on 
the BSD's). 

If you find any more failures, please open a ticket at 
http://trac.parrot.org/

If you find it works, please create a patch for PLATFORMS and post it at http://trac.parrot.org/
