Subject: Getting Parrot 1.0.0 into Fedora 11?

Congratulations on the Parrot 1.0.0 release!

By any chance, has anyone spoken with the Fedora folks about the
possibility of squeezing Parrot 1.0.0 into the Fedora 11 release,
preferably as a default package like Perl 5?

It may already be too late, since the Fedora 11 feature freeze date
was several weeks ago, but I've heard that Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
will be based on Fedora 11, which would be a really good reason to
lobby for including Parrot in the Fedora 11 release instead of waiting
for Fedora 12.

It would really help a lot if Parrot became part of the default
install of all Linux systems, and Fedora 11 would be a big step in
that direction...
