Java-related GSoC projects

Coke, I already have you down to mentor a JavaScript-related project.
I don't want to sign you up for two (unless you really really want
it!). I wouldn't mind going in halfsies with another dev on this, if
we can't find somebody who isn't currently signed up to mentor who
would be willing to do it.
