At 2f18afeed38d, 'make test' passes on Linux in several configuration 
variants; 'make fulltest' also passed on Linux (following regeneration 
of MANIFEST); 'make test' passes on Darwin with exception of 
t/dynpmc/select.t (previously discussed).
