 in compilers/pirc/src, there's an older manually-written (plain C)
 recursive-descent compiler for PIR.

 I propose to remove that code. It was a nice experiment, but I think Yacc
 /Bison-based PIR implementation is the Way to Go (given PIR's complexity).

 Any objections?
