Perl6 Digest::MD5 dependent on #1686. Any feedback?

Can anyone please take a quick look at this ticket?

and report back if I can expect the problem to be fixed
any time soon?

There's a 1-line patch (.HLL 'parrot' in Digest/MD5.pir) that,
altough doesn't solve the problem entirely, at least
shouldn't break anything at parrot level,
and allows the Perl6 Digest::MD5 counterpart to just work.
