Docs for the new embed API's functions

I've just uploaded the first cut of POD documentation for embed API's
functions. Those changes are located in the embed_api2 branch please take a
look and gimme your feedback though I believe most comments are accurate I
want also to see if the comments make sense at all. This will be used by
embedders and the better the documentation is the easiest would be for
people to use the API.

Also since we're in a point in which soon we will be able to merge
embed_api2 ( or embed_api4) back to the main trunk I'd be nice if we run
"make codingstd_tests" frequently to make sure we don't forget documenting
any new function.
