Just wanted to let you know that I just joined the Parrot effort with the goal 
of moving threading to a working state to make it usable from within Rakudo. 
My personal goal is to write an improved S17 as part of my upcoming bachelor 
paper which is due in February 2012 including at least a prototype 
implementation.

As I'm new to all of Perl 6, Rakudo and Parrot I of course will need all the 
help I can get :)
