Patrick Michaud's response indicates that one HLL has been working on
this from their side. How are we doing from the Parrot side.

No.
What progress have

At the very least, I haven't received any reports of progress and didn't
hear anyone talking about this at the various Parrot-at-YAPC sessions in
Asheville this week.
whiteknight, cotto, et. al.: Could we persuade you to pause for a while
on your other efforts so that we can have some forward motion on this goal?

While I haven't heard from the Rakudo and Parrot relationship
managers-designate that they have formally initiated this process, the
discussions we had this past week at YAPC certainly reflect the *spirit*
of this Roadmap Goal.
That's where I think things stand.
