GSOC Project Ideas

I wasn't sure where to post this but I thought I'd suggest a GSoC project (in self-interest because I'd like to do it).  I've been hanging around #parrot, but $reallife has been keeping me from chatting.

BigProjectIdeas lists "LALR Parser Generator" as a project.  Although it's listed as "large", I think at least a basic parser generator could be done in a summer.
