regarding the project : javascript on parrot

Firstly, welcome to the Parrot community.  I've cc'ed the parrot-dev mailing
list, which has many Parrot developers and GSoC mentors.

Glad to hear that you are interested in Javascript on Parrot! Just to clarify,
this project is to implement a Javascript compiler, and so will require
Javascript coding, as well as C/PIR and possibly other language skills.

A good place to start is at the README of Jaspers:

You proposal should reflect something that you would be interested to
work on, but
also something Parrot developers think is a good idea and something
you can complete
in 3.5 months.

Which Computer Science related courses have you taken? That might help
us judge which
concepts you will be familiar with and what you will need guidance on.

Also, you are welcome to join the #parrot IRC channel on
irc.parrot.org and ask questions.

The more you interact with Parrot mentors to refine your project
proposal, the better
the chance of it being accepted :)
