Actually, it's the exact reverse for Linux distributions. A monolithic
combined tarball is a pain to package, while a large number of tiny
packages are fine. It'd be better for Debian to strip the parrot release
down to nothing more than the core VM, and release all modules,
extensions, and languages separately.
