Merge of ayardley/upd_copyrights - a point of clarification

As I re-read my original post, I think I need to be a'bit more clear:

What I mean when I write, "[i]t also updates the copyright notices of most,
again, with a handful of exceptions, of the files throughout the repo[,]", is
the branch already contains the updates to the copyright
notices. Consequently, the merge would update all of the copyright notices
throughout the repo, again, with a handful of exceptions.

I apologize for any ambiguity in my original post.
