The 21st is a bit after the 7th. :) Since we've had no further
discussion, I'm confident declaring that the motion to join TPF has
passed. I'll set up a followup ballot for the SFC question.
The next steps with TPF will be for the PaFo board and the TPF board to
talk through the details. On the PaFo side, we'll need to draft an
assignment agreement for the Parrot intellectual property.
On the TPF side, the TPF board would like to charter a Parrot committee
right away, who will be given authority to allocate grants or other
spending from the Parrot Fund within TPF, and will also "manage" the
Parrot intellectual property. We'll be looking for a few volunteers for
this, starting here with the parrot-members, but I'll put out a call on
parrot-dev when the PaFo board is ready for a more public announcement.
For conflict-of-interest reasons, TPF Parrot committee members cannot be
active PaFo board members (though any current PaFo board members are
certainly welcome to join later, after PaFo is fully closed down).
Thanks all!
Allison
